Houston, TX Equine Photographer | A Girl and Her Pony

It’s a common theme with little girls when talking about what they’ll want for gifts. Pretty dresses, a Barbie dream house, and last but not least, their very own pony. Though often said in a joking manner, for some little girls the dream of a pony comes to fruition and little do they know they have been given the gift of a best friend.

Ella and Piccolo at Sienna Stables in Missouri City, TX

Ella’s pony Piccolo has been a huge part of her life for the past few years. She has helped her to grow both as a rider and a person, and has shaped her into the person she is today. She is now ready to move onto a horse for her future hunter/jumper competitions as Piccolo is becoming sadly outgrown. They have such a special bond, and I’m so glad we were able to capture some of their sweet relationship in photos.

Piccolo’s home at Sienna Stables in Missouri City, TX was the perfect location for our session. It’s conveniently located close to Sugarland and Richmond in Sienna Plantation in Missouri City and has riding programs for all ages and experience levels. The Spanish moss in one of the pastures made for a magical backdrop as Ella and her family posed for photos with Piccolo. Ella and her pony were so sweet with one another, and the love between them was evident. In due time, all little girls outgrow their pretty little dresses, their Barbie collection, and even their very first pony. But the bond between Ella and Piccolo will never be forgotten, and these memories will be treasured forever.
