Horse and rider sessions focus on capturing the bond and connection between horse and rider. My photography style is light and airy, with a focus on the natural interactions between horse and rider, rather than stiff poses. Most of the session will be unmounted, but there are options for bareback or under saddle photos as well. We usually save those for the end of the session since your clothes will usually be pretty dirty afterwards.  Horse & Rider Sessions take about 1+ hours to shoot and I prefer to schedule them during the hour before sunset or the hour after sunrise to get the best light. 

If you are looking for Horse Only Fine Art Portraits rather than photos of horse and rider together, you may want to schedule an Equine Portraiture session.

I am based in Houston, TX but regularly schedule equine photo sessions both in the Houston area and through out Texas. Distance fees apply for any photo session over a 50 mile round trip from my location.
