The waters have gone down around me and I am feeling incredibly fortunate to have avoided much of the devastation that has spread over the Houston area. I’m also feeling very fortunate to be in a position where I can be generous with my business right now. There are several Houston area charities that I know I can help bring attention to, so I am making a special offer: donate at least $250 directly to any of the 501 (c)(3) charities I have listed and I will gift you a Greater Houston area Horse & Rider Photo Session (regularly priced at $375.) Details of my Horse & Rider Sessions available here.
To Book Your Photo Session:
- Make a Donation of at least $250 directly to one of the following charities:
2. Forward your donation receipt to me at hello@sheilascottphoto.com by September 30, 2017 and schedule your photo session.
3. All gifted sessions must be scheduled with me by September 30 for a session date before February 15, 2018. Greater Houston area only. Offer for new sessions only, may not be used on previously scheduled photo sessions.
Why Special CHEERS Therapy Center?
Special Cheers provides occupational therapy to children and young adults in the Houston area. All of the animals at Special CHEERS were safely evacuated before the hurricane, but their facility has been completely flooded and they will need all the help they can get to get back to doing what they do best!
Why TWRC Wildlife Center?
TWRC provides care and coordinates wildlife rehabilitation all year, but wildlife have been devastated by the flooding as well as we have, and the needs of the center have increased with all the wildlife displaced or injured during the flood.
Why Houston SPCA?
The Houston SPCA is the lead nonprofit animal-related agency responsible for disaster rescue, recovery and relief efforts. They work to protect animals year round, but their needs have also increased dramatically following the hurricane.
All of these charities are licensed, local, well organized charities that will put your donation directly to work in the Houston area.
Thank you for helping return life to normal for the people and animals of Houston!
